Making Faces  by Kevyn Aucoin The book that started it all for me. I was already dabbling with makeup, but I really went down the rabbithole when I received this book as a gift. I’ve now kept my copy of  Making Faces  with me for over a decade and multiple moves. It’s dog-eared and loved and I’ll keep it forever. This is, in my opinion,  the most inspiring makeup book  I’ve ever read and I highly recommend it. His makeup line – released posthumously – is also incredible.
